Budapest is indeed grey, and its cathedral particularly so. The Bazilika is in the process of being cleaned, and the work on the dome is finished, so this is as good as it gets. Having said that, it is a very grey November day.
There used to be a carpark directly in front of the building, but this has been moved underground, and a square is being laid here instead.
